Project Name: Deborah Heart and Lung Center Cardiac Electrophysiology Lab Enhancement

Project Location: Brown Mills, NJ

Amount Requested: $1,275,000

Intended Recipient: Deborah Heart and Lung Center

Description: This project supports the purchase and installation of a CardioLab Hemodynamic system in Deborah’s Electrophysiology Labs. This funding is a good use of taxpayer dollars because the hospital serves a Medically Underserved Area/population as defined by the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA).

Project Name: Dumont Borough Ladder Truck Request

Project Location: Dumont, NJ

Amount Requested: $1,500,000

Intended Recipient: Borough of Dumont

Description: This project supports the acquisition of a new primary command vehicle, a secondary command utility vehicle, and a fire engine. This is a good use of taxpayer dollars as it will improve fire response, emergency management, and disaster response for Old Tappan and surrounding communities.

Project Name: North Wildwood Public Works Facility

Project Location: North Wildwood, NJ

Amount Requested: $5,500,000

Intended Recipient: City of North Wildwood

Description: This projects supports the replacement of the North Wildwood Public Works Facility which is long past its useful design life and in a state of disrepair. This is a good use of taxpayer dollars because a new facility is an investment in operational efficiency, community well-being, and resiliency.

Project Name: Old Tappan Fire Department Emergency Vehicles

Project Location: Old Tappan, NJ

Amount Requested: $525,000

Intended Recipient: Borough of Old Tappan

Description: This project supports the acquisition of a new primary command vehicle, a secondary command utility vehicle, and a fire engine. This is a good use of taxpayer dollars as it will improve fire response, emergency management, and disaster response for Old Tappan and surrounding communities.

Project Name: Pumper Apparatus for Lebanon Township Volunteer Fire Department

Project Location: Glen Gardner, NJ

Amount Requested: $565,648

Intended Recipient: Township of Lebanon

Description: This funding will support the purchase of a pumper apparatus for the Lebanon Township Volunteer Fire Department. This is a good use of taxpayer dollars as this apparatus will greatly improve the quality of daily emergency response operations.

Project Name: Audubon Fire Engine Acquisition

Project Location: Audubon, NJ

Amount Requested: $660,000

Intended Recipient: Borough of Audubon

Description: This project supports the purchase of a new fire engine for the Audubon Borough Volunteer Fire Department. This is a good use of taxpayer dollars because the truck it is replacing is at the end of its use life and is out of compliance with several standards, posing a safety risk to first responders.

Project Name: Physick Estate Capital Improvements

Project Location: Cape May, NJ

Amount Requested: $1,473,413

Intended Recipient: Mid-Atlantic Center for the Arts

Description: This funding supports capital projects specified in the approved New Jersey Historic Trust Site Management Grant. This is a good use of taxpayer dollars since this will expand public accessibility to free, interpretive historic spaces within the Emlen Physick Estate.

Project Name: Breathing Units (SCBA) Units for Greenwich Township Fire Department

Project Location: Greenwich, NJ

Amount Requested: $45,000

Intended Recipient: Township of Greenwich

Description: This funding support the purchase of five SCBA units to replace existing SCBAs that are old, failing, and out of compliance. This is a good use of taxpayer dollars as this is a critical equipment needed for the fire department to carry out its mission of protecting people and property.

Project Name: Ladder Fire Truck for Borough of Franklin

Project Location: Franklin, NJ

Amount Requested: $1,595,250

Intended Recipient: Borough of Franklin

Description: This project will support the purchase a new ladder fire truck for a rural community. This is a good use of taxpayer dollars because it is a much-needed ladder fire truck that will decrease the need to rely on mutual aid agreements with surrounding towns for fire services and improve response times.

Project Name: Emergency Services Complex Construction for Township of Verona

Project Location: Verona, NJ

Amount Requested: $5,000,000

Intended Recipient: Township of Verona

Description: This projects supports the construction of a state-of-the-art emergency services complex. This is a good use of taxpayer dollars as this building will consolidate equipment, services, and administration which in turn will improve operations, as emergency response coordination will be enhanced.

Project Name: Borough of Emerson Firehouse Elevator

Project Location: Edison, NJ

Amount Requested: $500,000

Intended Recipient: Borough of Edison

Description: This funding support the installation of an ADA-compliant elevator at the Emerson Firehouse. This is a good use of taxpayer dollars because, as a public election polling site, it will ensure accessibility for all residents, particularly seniors and individuals with disabilities.

Project Name: Borough of Paulsboro Municipal Building & Police Station

Project Location: Paulsboro, NJ

Amount Requested: $13,595,000

Intended Recipient: Borough of Paulsboro

Description: This funding supports construction of a complex that will house both administrative offices and the police station. This is a good use of taxpayer dollars because it will better facilitate residents’ access to services, improve ADA-accessibility and better meet the needs of our local police.

Project Name: Wyckoff Police Department Renovations

Project Location: Wycoff, NJ

Amount Requested: $2,283,750

Intended Recipient: Wycoff Township

Description: This project will support the modernization and expansion of the Wyckoff police facility. This is a good use of taxpayers dollars as it will allow the department to meet operational, safety, and compliance standards. These upgrades will also create opportunities for emergency response coordination.

Project Name: Police Headquarters for Bloomingdale

Project Location: Bloomingdale, NJ

Amount Requested: $8,000,000

Intended Recipient: Borough of Bloomingdale

Description: This project supports the construction of a new, centralized police headquarters. This is a good use of taxpayer dollars because the construction of a new police headquarters will provide essential infrastructure to meet the present and future public safety needs of the community and the region.

Project Location: Bogota, NJ

Amount Requested: $2,250,000

Intended Recipient: Borough of Bogota

Description: This project supports the construction of a new firehouse for Bogota Fire Department. This is an appropriate use of taxpayer dollars as it will not only enhance the daily operations of the fire department, but also advance ongoing efforts to improve the quality of life.
