Requesting a Grant Letter of Support

Organizations and municipalities throughout New Jersey can apply for grant funding from federal departments to support their work and missions. Depending on the funds you are applying for, there are multiple ways that Senator Kim’s office may be able to provide assistance, including writing a letter of support for your project to include with your application or submitting the letter of support to the appropriate federal program grant liaison on your behalf.

To request a letter, please provide the information below and submit it with a draft letter of support. After reviewing the information, a staff member will contact you with any additional questions and let you know if Senator Kim may be able to assist.

Due to the high number of letter requests, the office requires at least two week’s notice before the application deadline to adequately review your request and create the letter.

Please note, because we are a federal office, we may only provide letters for federal grant applications or for a federal component of any allocated funds. If you have any questions, or need additional grant support or guidance, please email our office at grants@kim.senate.gov.
