Senator Andy Kim to Hold Statewide Town Hall To Discuss Effects of Government Turmoil on NJ Families

JERSEY CITY, N.J. – Today, Senator Andy Kim (D-NJ) announced he will be holding a tele town hall as a United States Senator on Monday, February 10th at 6:30 pm. This will be Senator Kim’s first town hall since joining the Senate and builds on his previous commitment to be directly accessible to constituents. As a Member of Congress, he held 81 town halls before being sworn into the Senate at the end of 2024.

During this call, Senator Kim will provide an update on funds for New Jersey that are being threatened by the Trump Administration’s executive actions, as well as work being done to deliver for New Jersey in the United States Senate. This call will also serve as an opportunity for constituents from across the state to call in and speak directly with the Senator to raise their questions and concerns. Senator Kim will also be joined by representatives of organizations in New Jersey hard hit by Trump’s funding freeze.
